Having just planned a route for 2026 and placed stops for overnight hotels, is there anyway that you can mark it as 1 or 2 nights etc.
The maximum pause is 10 hours.
Not critical but useful -

Not critical but useful@Colin-Hodgkinson the general advise is to plan per day

Like Marinus said is the best and easiest way. But if you insist on making one big route, you can make a second waypoint on the same location and ad the pause you want up to 10 hours max.

@Lex.Kloet.RX I know about such workarounds - but where is the problem, to develop expansion the selection list up to 12 or 24 hrs?

Not difficult at all but it implies a feature we don’t want to imply

Not critical but useful@Colin-Hodgkinson I suppose you're like me, I like to plan the route completely.
For me, it's very practical and useful to use this function once I have the entire route planned:
And I'll list them day by day. This way, I have the complete route on one hand and the individual days on the other.

I hope you find this a useful solution.

how about this?

or another example:

Does it mean you don't want to make any improvements in multi-day route planning in the new version od the web planner? I thing there would be many people interested in this topic.

Honestly I'm baffled by your request. It makes no sense to me. When I plan multi-day trips I layout the basic route and define the stops for the end of each day. I then spilt the route into days and do detailed planning for each day.

Maybe @Corjan-Meijerink doesn't want to encourage people to plan multi-day routes the wrong way. What is the point of adding the time spent in a bar or bed to the overall time of a route!

Ok, I am just curious
