Update 5.0.2 - Free drive

Merry Christmas to you all!
As a nice little gift we've just submitted the latest app update which will become available with a few days.Due to holiday season also at Apple / Google, the reviews might take slightly longer.
This update contains some boring stability improvements but also a nice feature you will all love: the free drive
Free drive
Available to everyone with a Navigation Next subscription
From the menu, you can now simply select "free drive".
This will close all menu's, show the current street name and your current speed & the speed limit on the current road!Exactly a free drive how you all wanted it. Best part, you will also now see your current speed & speed limit in CarPlay / Android Auto when you are just driving around.
Even better, you can also show a route while free driving
And this will be also displayed in your car, how cool is that!
Note: this can only be started from the phone
Simply generate a scenic route / roundtrip or open one of your own routes and you'll see a nice little extra button called "free drive". Tap it to enable the feature with exactly the same functionalities but now also with the waypoints and route line displayed
That all said, you don't have the amount of functionalities as you would have while navigating. Tapping waypoints to receive their information, won't work. Speed camera's and other traffic related notifications also aren't there. You get the features I listed before. Nothing more and nothing less.
Shortest route for motorcycles
You can now also choose the "shortest route" option for the motorcycle profile!
Great if you want to choose that over the default "fastest" and one of the ways you can ensure certain ferries are actually used.Stability improvements
- Improved behavior of some bluetooth controllers (Generic back navigation / closing menu while navigating. To achieve this, simply use the button that allows you to open the menu while navigating. Manuals will be updated on public release
- WunderLINQ escape action should work again
- Zoom behavior while entering / leaving the highway
- QR code share of scenic routes works again
- Stuck position after disconnecting Android Auto
- When editing a route from the navigation settings screen and saving the edited route, the correct settings / route are now reloaded

Thanks for yet another update. When I view the app in Free Drive on my iPhone, the speed camera icons are visible, yet they are not shown on CarPlay, is this correct?

@Bill-Wright-0 The speed camera icons show on CarPlay display for me. I have been using both wired and wireless devices in my car and on my motorbike. As the release notes state, there is no alert.
