Route Optimisation

Under Routing Options, when using Here, I get three options; Avoid, Disable seasonal closures and Offroad. I would to also like to have Route Optimisation. How do I get that option?

Change the profile in from motor to auto

As said, use the transport profile for Cars (Auto) instead of Motor. This avoids some of the issues.
Looking at your options available, are you a Gold/Silver member? Or a basic member?
As a basic member you cannot use the HERE map. But it confuses me looking at your options. Mentioning HERE you should be a Silver/Gold member...???
In HERE, before you start plotting a route, set Route optimization to shortest (or short) (in Dutch: Kortste route). With this set to shortest, you will also solve some issues.

Thanks for your help. I have now resolved this. I am a gold member. The options I get under Route Optimisation are Shortest and Fastest. I understand that you recommend I select Shortest.

It depends on your what you want. Shortest means every little s***street available or streets through large cities will be in your route. But you can try both possibilities and decide what comes closest to your needs.

OK thanks for the help

Lex, thats really harsh to put it like this!
It's not only streets but also ferry's and so on.
@Ben-Harrison-Graham
A lot of users who keeps optimization on fastest experience problems like crossing a river with ferry.Why?. And this is wat @Lex.Kloet.RX dors not explain to you:
Having optimization on fastest means that MRA calculate the fastest route which might not be the route you want.As example: getting from A to B might take 60 minutes with a ferry and MRA set on shortest while having MRA set to fastest takes 50 minutes using a bridge further down the river. Guess which route MRA will choose when optimization set to fastest although you wanna cross the river using the ferry.....
It is recommended to set optimization to shortest to utilize MRA fully.

OK thanks again guys.
