Anyone problems with iOS 18.5?

Hi,

in my Facebook group, someone is having problems with MRA and the new iOS 18.5.
I do not want to update my phone yet.

I don't know if I'm the only one with this problem, but since the iPhone update to 18.5, the MyRoute app regularly ‘freezes’ during navigation.
I travelled to the Hunsrück in my motorhome this weekend. After a while, the app was really jittery, i.e. the 4 buttons at the bottom right were flashing, the next departure, which is always shown as scrolling text, stopped or jerked.
I closed the app and restarted it, which sometimes lasted 5 or even 20 minutes, but there was no improvement in sight.

ich habe meine Geräte alle auf iOS 18.5 geladen, das Upgrade macht so keine Probleme.

• MRA allgemein okay
• MRA Navigation ohne Probleme
• Navi App über 200km gestern betrieben
• Remotek One Bedienung ohne Probleme

2. Handy iPhone Xr im Tankrucksack mit Sim im Hotspot für Nr. 1 Handy okay

After updating iOS 18.5 on iPhone 13 Pro:
May 16, 2025: The app on my iPhone started blinking and freezing after some time (50 minutes). The ability to turn off the app (3 dots) was also gone. After restarting the iPhone, the app worked properly again. After this, I have not needed the app to this day so I can't tell more about it.

Am vergangenen Donnerstag hatte ich ebenfalls Probleme (im Wohnmobil-Modus) nach dem Update auf 18.5 (iPhone 15 ProMax). Die App ist mitten auf der AB (in Bonn erstmalig) eingefroren, oder begann an den 4 Schaltflächen unten rechts hektisch zu blinken. Hat sich auch bis zur Zielankunft nicht mehr gebessert.
Zwischenzeitlich kam ein Update via TestFlight, aber am eigentlichen Problem hat sich nichts geändert.
Auf der Heimfahrt am Sonntag waren die ersten 50km unauffällig, jedoch danach ging es wieder los mit den Aussetzern.
Werde erstmal neu starten und die App komplett deinstallieren und wieder neu aufspielen.
Nächster Test ab Donnerstag auf dem Motorrad Richtung Vogesen.

Bleiben die Probleme, als Reserve Calimoto geladen als Testversion für 2 Wochen.

Fahre seit Jahren mit MyRoute-App durch halb Europa, aber so schlimm war es noch nie, schade....

Last Thursday I also had problems (in motorhome mode) after the update to 18.5 (iPhone 15 ProMax). The app is frozen in the middle of the AB (in Bonn for the first time), or started flashing frantically at the 4 buttons at the bottom right. Has not improved even until the arrival of the destination.

In the meantime, an update came via TestFlight, but nothing has changed on the actual problem.

On the way home on Sunday, the first 50km were unremarkable, but after that it started again with the dropouts.

Will first restart and completely uninstall the app and reinstall it again.

Next test from Thursday on the motorcycle towards Vosges.

Remain the problems, as reserve Calimoto loaded as a trial version for 2 weeks.

I've been driving through half of Europe with the MyRoute app for years, but it's never been so bad, too bad....

iPhone 12P, iOS: 18.5; MyRouteApp: 4.3.9 - 395
I have had several problems with the navigation.
First, the icons on the screen are jumping left and right. I have noticed that at the gas station first time, the gas station icon was jumping left to right. I have notice that several more times with different icons while driving/riding.
Second, I have tried to get to the settings during navigation. When I pressed ellipsis button, the menu showed up, but it was jumping up and down. I could not scroll, and could not select any items on the menu. At that time, I have tried to end navigation, but I was unable to do that. I have shot down the application, and after I restarted, I have been asked if I want to continue the navigation. All worked fine from now on. (I did not try to do anything funky from then on.)
Third, the buttons on the right bottom start jumping up and down during the navigation. I can see the part of the black background of the button location square. The buttons do not respond to any entry while in the jumping mode.
Fourth, the map did not showed up several times, when I tried to navigate from A to B. The background was black, the start and end flags were visible. One time, while navigating, the map went black. The navigation continued, but on the black background. Restart of app fixed the problem.
Fifth, one time-when I got to the settings-the menu covered part of the map, and I could not get it out; the screen was frozen. Restart of the app fixed the problem.
Sixth, once, while navigating, the blue line disappeared, the location icon was facing to the right, and navigation continued.
I got some videos of the blinking icons and menus, but I do not remember how to upload them.

recently rode multi day trip, iphone 13 pro ios 18.5, no issues to report although was connected to carpuride 702b.
