    @Jack-van-Tilburg

In the UK the Michelin overlay is quite dissapointing.
In many cases the Michelin assigns these roads to major A Roads.
I prefer to stick to the narrow Country Lanes with some grass in the middle. πŸ’ͺ

Yes, if that is what you get for Michelins "Scenic Roads", thats very disappointing indeed... Question remains: how do you identify the "narrow country lanes with grass in the middle" πŸ˜‰

I agree with @Rob-Verhoeff that in Germany and Austria the Michelin Green roads really are quite useful. In the Netherlands we barely have those roads though...

(I use MRA Next only on Android Auto. Every comment, suggestion, etc will be based on my usage with Android Auto)

I use the built in Street View in MRA to identify those narrow country lanes.
I try to string as many as I can together, but obviously I am forced to use some "Main" roads inevitably along the route.

Yes that is a great tool. unfortunately it was not such a great tool for riding in Germany. Mapping Germany was long time forbidden by the German government. But since last summer it is allowed, and I see that they have caught up rather quickly πŸ˜‰

                    I do exactly the same.

In my experience it is in between 30-40 kmh. specially in the UK on narrow roads without a view.

I'm curious, what is your average speed on those roads?

My speed on the Country Lanes is based on how far I can see ahead.
In the UK many of these Country Lanes are set to 60 mph but I rarely reach that speed unless it is a straight road.
There are far to many hazards on the country lanes!
:Horses (I always stop and switch off the engine), Walkers (I slow down), Dogs not on leads (I Stop), blind bends, boy racers, Cyclists, delivery vans and my favourite is Suicidal Pheasants!
