@Tim-Thompson yes That really is only ~5 weeks away. We are moving mountains here and creating the best app you can imagine for route navigation. We also want to get this right!
Meant as humor. But please... continue to move mountains.
-
v3.2.10 has not landed on my Android yet. Previous version was available immediate after the announcement.
-
@Tim-Thompson thanks for clarifying that A lot of people say the same about Android Auto but aren’t joking hahaha
-
@Con-Hennekens Android has just been approved so it’s published and downloadable now
-
@Corjan-Meijerink, yep, thanks!
EDIT:
Huh? the download is A LOT smaller than the previous version, only 12MB ? -
@Corjan-Meijerink Awesome update! Looking forward for Android Auto.
If you can, one very nice feature for AA would be if you can define the app like a navigation app or a music app - toggleble. I know it sounds crazy, I don't know if it is possible, but a toggle for that would bring the window as the main navigation window OR the side window that usually is taken by the music app.
The new AA Coolwalk interface kind of restricts you what can you place in the side window, and so far, I could only place music apps there.
This way you can use both Waze and MRA on the same screen... Would be cool...

I was just about to mention that Round Trip direction button was a bit hit and miss!
Then I worked out that you just keep tapping it and it spins a step clockwise for each tap.
I'll get my coat......Blooming awesome.
-
@Steve-Lynch happy you figured it out We do hope to improve it a bit later on
@Con-Hennekens no clue about the size - the total app size did not change a lot but maybe the update only required a partial download. Not sure how the play store manages that.
-

Happy to share that iOS is now also available to download
@Bart-DM the long wait is over
-
@Corjan-Meijerink
IOS 3.2.10 just became available to me. -
@Corjan-Meijerink already testing
-
Can we use Offline Maps just on the phone now or is it only currently available for Car Play use?
-
@Steve-Lynch the offline maps should also be used by CarPlay. Offline routing however still needs to be added
-
Ok thanks for the confirmation.

Please note that when using CarPlay (and Android Auto), the apps still run on your phone. It's basically comparable to attaching an external screen and keyboard/mouse to a laptop: everything still runs on the laptop and the screen and keyboard/mouse are only used for output and input. Same with CarPlay/Android Auto: basically everything still runs on your phone and the screen in your car/on your bike and your vehicle's controls are used to interact with it.
