Having used the beta version for a few weeks now I have to say I'm loving it. I use it for work and for leisure, both of which take in many waypoints in remote parts of mid Wales. When planning a route in MRA I find I often need to change the waypoint information to suit, for example, waypoint 5 on a recent planned route showed as "B4395 Welshpool" which is great, but it also happens to be my favourite coffee shop and so I change the waypoint description to "Coffee Stop", however when running the route it just shows as waypoint 5. Is there a way to show info for each waypoint like in the planning app? Apologies if this is already possible but if not it would be a very handy addition.
I hope the above makes sense, I'm really impressed with it so far particularly the improvements in each update.

@Jon-Edwards The way we add a coffee stop to a RouteXpert route would be to add the appropriate POI, use a red via point, add the coffee cup icon and a 30 minute pause break. We would also give the route point the title of Coffee stop and add a short note. In my example below the note reads: Coffee stop at Llanfair Tea Room (I couldn't find your coffee stop on the B4395)
By using this method with the current version of MRA Navigation Next, the red route point is clearly visible (indicating a stop) the fact that a via point has been used means that you can set the bottom ETA box to show time and distance to next via point and when the coffee stop route point is next to be visited, the route point information box at the top of the screen will scroll through the text that you have placed in the route point note.

Wow, did I completely miss this feature? Is this already implemented in 3.2.5.? Awesome.

Maybe this is the Coffee Stop on the B4395?
The sign says "Rijo The real taste of coffee".

Wow! thanks for the fast replies and information.
@Corjan-Meijerink, I changed the info via the highlighted "text" button but I will be planning my next route on Saturday morning so will add it as a note as instructed and will report back.
@Nick Carthew thank you, I will also try this method. The coffee stop in question is actually listed as "B4390, Welshpool, SY21 8, United Kingdom, my typo I'm afraid and for the record its Lychgate Cottage Coffee Shop in Aberriw, I can highly recommend it fabulous cake. I will also report back on this.
                Thanks again.

                    @Corjan-Meijerink
Today I planned my route as suggested by adding waypoint information via the note option. This works well, however the information contained only becomes available when the waypoint is the very last direction in the "direction box"( I have coloured red in the pic), this means the information contained can scroll for many miles if the waypoint is on the actual road your travelling(Fantastic) or for only seconds if your waypoint is say 50 meters from the last turn(not so good).
Would it be possible to add any created notes to the "waypoint box"(blue in pic). When this box is tapped it gives the option to skip that waypoint, but also having any added notes when tapped would be very helpful. For example today's route contained 15 waypoints, after waypoint 7 the app froze(I suspect due to lack of signal) having the added notes in the waypoint box would have been very useful when skipping each waypoint to get back to waypoint 8, otherwise you have to rely on remembering which waypoint you were at when the problem arose.
Hopefully the above makes sense,I'll try Nicks suggestion for my next route.
                    Merry Christmas!

@Jon-Edwards Happy to hear you are enjoying the app 🎉
This should work actually! Could you make sure to change the Name of the waypoint using this feature in the routeplanner?

                      Screenshot 2022-12-22 at 11.09.18.png

Adding a description (the button below the one I highlighted) should also be displayed by the app. But it is essential step one has been done.

Looking forward to your response 🙂

@Jon-Edwards Another option for route point information is to print off a . PDF of the route and put it in your tank bag. I use this method when touring.

Getting more information in the blue box is very difficult given the available space. We will however try to improve stuff over the next updates. There will always be some limitations we have to deal with 🙂
