@RetiredWingMan, Hmmm, Yes I believe that's the case, but to be honest not 100% sure. Something to check when driving home . What is also a thing is that you need to be on the move. Often testing "from your sofa" will not show the gas station information.
@Vikings-Bikers, I have not experienced that before. I assume you are talking about the voice speaking the names and/or notes of a waypoint. These always get spoken once, about 750 meter before you reach the waypoint.

Just an idea.
Don't place your first point where you start your trip. Put it a few hunderd further on the route. Then you still need to reach the first waypoint and there is nothing to skip.
Also.
When you are standing on a spot. Your GPS position is not always accurate enough. This also forces you to manual skip the first waypoint.
Great advice from @M-Schrijver

I use the actual APP version on iOS and have the german card data stored locally on my phone for the case of missing mobile data.
Travelmode is always for motor bike.

I was downloading the Route incorrectly as a .gpx 1.1, where I needed to do this:
Yes, seeing the GPX file, that would have been my suggestion too
THANK YOU for your help!!!
You're welcome, glad it was sorted.
@RetiredWingMan, yes, but when the route is already recalculated over an alternative road, adding a waypoint to that alternative road it has already chosen is not really meaningful. Of you want to force a recalculation over a different road, that is possible given the existing features.
@RetiredWingMan, They have a Lite one too I see:

But unless you want specifically their software pre-installed, I doubt it is a lot different from any generic rugged tablet.
