@CARAMBA, Forget about the Navigation app. It is EOL en does not work anymore. The New Navigation module (Next) is built into the existing MyRoute-app (previously called "Mobile"). Offline maps in the new app are HERE maps and only used for Turn-By-Turn Navigation. For that to be activated you need the Navigation subscription (same subscription as before).

@Con-Hennekens, om mezelf even aan te vullen: Inmiddels is me duidelijk dat dit zich voordoet zowel in offline als in online mode. Het starten vanuit de resume functie werkt dan niet. Maar haal ik hetzelfde adres op uit de zoekfunctie (favorieten) dan werkt het wèl gewoon.

Ik heb het ook wel eens ervaren in een webbrowser (ik gebruik Firefox). Best irritant, maar ff refreshen helpt al een hoop!

@fas I also set my screen timeout to the longest value possible (10 mins for me). This helps to keep the app and download running.

@Peter-RT Here you'll find many answers to your questions. Instructions about almost all the actions you might encounter in the Routeplanner. And if you can't find something? Then ask your question as precisely as possible. There's plenty of knowledge on the forum to assist you with that.

@Con-Hennekens and white we're at it, I missed a turn yesterday because the app crashed and I didn't notice for a while ... perhaps an audible notification when the app crashes! ( all in good fun )

@Mirella-den-Hollander, I heard some people complaining about a "robotic" voice indeed. On my devices I hear a perfectly fine female voice (different brands, same voice). Since the voice synthesis is done by the operating system, settings are done in the Android system menu. Sometimes a manufacturer adds extra voices or extra options for loudness etc. Therfore there is no uniform way to explain settings. I don't suppose it is on the devs wishlist to integrate an embedded voice synthesis. But I agree that it would probably be a lot better, and more self-explanatory.
