@Drabslab, The "linking" system is already in place through the "Friends" feauture, Planner wise. Also in MRA Mobile routes of friends are easy to open. So my guess is, that when a Navigation button is added to a route overview, exactly what you want will be reality. We have to consider the integration of Planner Mobile and Navigation. A lot of what is already in there will be applicable to Navigation too when it's integrated. The more I think about this, the more I see the advantages of integration, where I was reluctant about that at first. I like this suggestion of driving friends routes without importing them in your own account.

@Rob-Verhoeff, MRA itself is calling out for suggestions. So we will see at least SOMETHING of them in the endproduct.

Looking at CoPilotGPS, it does a pretty good job of maintaining a minimalist display - presenting only relevant/necessary information... [image: 1664571648596-638c085f-10dc-4986-b1d6-2bb7de05cc67-image.png] The display is also dated. I haven't seen an update to their UI since the beginning. I'm just throwing it out there as an example of a different approach. The two top buttons by the B arrow can be disabled/removed from the display, leaving only the zoom buttons. Same for the speed limit (arrow C). What's left is pretty basic. The two fields marked by arrow A are user configurable. Currently they are showing distance and estimated time remaining to the next via (stop). This is generally my preferred configuration - an option not currently in MRA Navigation. Other options for these fields... [image: 1664572167554-edb9cbc8-d685-41db-a3d1-b8ce6681a560-image.png] I should also note that those two fields are user selectable/configurable on the fly. You simply touch the field and the options display shown above pops up. It might be handy to be able to display ETA to final destination momentarily. What MRA calls full screen lane guidance is a user selectable option. However, it's either on or off... CoPilotGPS calls it ClearTurn. In addition to being able to turn it on/off, they give you configuration options on how it actually works... [image: 1664572610056-fb6485ad-899f-4556-bbc5-4a724800ee47-image.png] I've got it set to 0.7/0.5 miles, which seems to work well. It pops up and grabs your attention, but doesn't persist long enough to get in the way. MRA has an option to "Alert me when I'm speeding". It's either on or off. There's no option to turn speed limits off etc. CoPilotGPS on the other hand... [image: 1664573049221-3e177839-e3d4-4752-8539-668e7b31d65a-image.png] I'm not sure why I'd ever turn the speed limit display off. But maybe being able to set how many mph over before you get a warning might be useful. Perhaps less useful, but mentioning anyway... CoPilotGPS will display "places"/POIs on the map. I'm not sure how handy that would be. But, what POIs categories get displayed is user selectable. IDK, gas stations or food might be handy. They can also be configured to display only when stopped. Maybe more useful is the "places"/POI alerts. These alerts are also user configurable. Perhaps getting alerted to nearby gas stations, restaurants or parking/rest stops for example may be handy. [image: 1664573778154-90d7ef88-85c2-420b-8dba-80fdda7dd4a6-image.png] Anyway... My main point is that I think maybe there should be room made for some user configurable fields. Especially the time/distance to the next via (stop) as shown by arrow A above.

@Russ-1, a non-paid membership is enough to share routes. Why does your wife need navigation on the back of the bike? And the auto-skip-waypoints works really well for me. But I am not too frantic about deviating from the route between 2 waypoints, knowing that I have enough waypoints to make the deviation really small.

@Steve-Lynch I can indeed confirm the accessibility features are ignored. During early testing of Mobile we discovered a lot of issues when allowing this so we now simply ignore it. By default the Mobile app uses a bigger font as that suits the app usage (slightly longer distance from your eyes as it’s mounted on a bike / car). If the accessibility feature would increase the font size even more, the screen became horrific. When using the forum through the Mobile app, it uses the default web size font which might be a bit small. Thanks for putting this on my radar.

@Drabslab said in Suggestion: Mark routes for visibility in Navigation (Next): @Con-Hennekens Even with this feature I would still want to be able to browse the same folder structure as I have in the routeplanner. What Nick says about the folderstructure already being there in the Mobile app. We can be quite sure this will replicate to the Navigation part of that same app. However, this would indeed be a good feature on top of the folder browsing allowing also to re-use old routes without copying, cutting and pasting. Exactly that! And to not have the bother of the complete archive of routes to browse through when loading a route.

@Timo-Martosatiman-MRA My intention was to force putting the route by the city, not knowing any precise addresse, only as transit. For example I'd like to go from location A to B by city C - so I am finding C by seek mechanizm and then I don't want to enter any street name (because I don't have any idea which one) nor city center which is mostly main square. It would be only a general directive for routing. For sure it can stay for one of the final phases of the application development

Thanks for the suggestion @L-Spijker-0 While on the route-planning end I would completely agree with you that TomTom is a hard requirement, we'll definitely not be including TomTom routing in our initial release (and honestly, likely all future releases) of the MRA Navigation Next application. As @Steve-Lynch mentioned, we're using HERE as the basis for the premium sat-nav-esque "Navigation" part of "MRA Navigation Next". That isn't to say that TomTom map layers won't be possible. For those that don't know: map-layers are the way the map looks, including things like labels and colours.

@Nick-Carthew +1 For me the map is more important rather then the buttons. I use the buttons very rarely.
