@Corjan-Meijerink No problem. Previously I would use the built in Android screen recorder, but recently due to the excellent stability of the app I don't really bother.

@Doug-Robinson yes thanks! We already added a requested internal change to verify the internet speed rather than checking if there simply is ‘a’ connection

Anyway, I just wanted to pass along this finding. I am not a programmer and have no idea how to do something like that, but I could imagine that after losing the GPS signal and after info of the map data, one is in a tunnel, that then a routine with the normal average speed drives through the tunnel, eventually a departure takes if necessary and one comes out so about the same time at the exit.

@Vince-Hyde, that is a valid point of course.

@Corjan-Meijerink, if that would correct the problem, it is still wrong. Only vehicles > 3500kg should get lower max speed.

@Doug-Robinson, I found myself confronted with "obligatory map updates" quite regularly. I am not sure what happens if you ignore those. But yeah, I think there are far to many updates indeed. That would however not be a problem if only delta's would be downloaded. HERE offers that (it was present in the early beta's, but proved to be not stable enough. @Corjan-Meijerink, are offline maps still being prioritized to the online version when such an update is presented? What makes an update obligatory? Is HERE still working on improvement of the delta update procedure? Thanks!

@Hubert-Thoring as before, appreciate your enthusiasm Also, as before, I kindly request you to stop pushing this Yes, it has been ordered. Might even be delivered but we would still need to research the implementation. I’ve been away last week.

I have been out this morning to have a nice ride in the UK heatwave. Very happy with the newest update. Firstly, I now have sufficient volume in my Sena Intercom. Secondly the phone didn’t overheat (although it was hot) and actually charged up to 99% by the time I got home. The motorway signs are good too.

@Corjan-Meijerink, it could perhaps be an idea to up that option in the menu, so people don't need to scroll for it. It could also be an idea to assign a keypress to that function. A barbutton could then be programmed to use that key.

@Corjan-Meijerink said in Fehler Karte bei der einfachen Ansicht ohne Navigation: hese maps cannot use the offline maps. Offline maps are only available while actually navigating. We aim to add a free-drive mode soon Okay das wäre hilfreich !! Danke dafür !! VG

@Corjan-Meijerink I played around with this for a bit. I tried moving the viapoint and thought that fixed it but no. I found that when in offline mode, the road is unknown. When in online mode the road is known. See the two screen shots below. Only difference is offline vs online. [image: 1693969239459-screenshot_20230905_225307.jpg] And this one. @Michael-Rhys I went back and read your original post again. I misread it the first time. I though the error was after lunch ... not before. Can't say why you were not properly directed to the VP. Very strange.

@Corjan-Meijerink Leaving the tracking on is not a big issue for me (I normally remember to pause it) but it does save battery power, and it keeps the route statistics a little more accurate if you pause the tracking on a lunch break or any significant stop. It does make sense (to me) if navigation is paused so should tracking. Also; why would it accidentally stop tracking while driving?

@Dave-J-0 Thanks so much for the detailed feedback! About the poor reception, that is a difficult one! The difference between poor reception and no reception is quite big. We now do a very quick and easy "do I have reception" test which then yields a "yes". However, when then requiring the internet to do a complex recalculation, the reception might be a bit less (while still there) and then it won't work. I think we will need to adjust the internet check test to something more complex to indicate a minimum required internet speed or something like that Over to the rest: Changed this in the upcoming release version based on the beta feedback! Made some minor adjustments but we struggled with this too. Making the image larger, hides crucial information which is undesirable too. The most important part, the big blue arrows indicating which lanes to take, are quite well visible. I am pretty certain we will tune this after more feedback. Working on it with HERE. Auto skipping has quite some complex logic and is also configured to not accidentally start skipping waypoints while not wanted to. We prefer the user needing to stop to manually skip rather than having to stop to correct accidentally skipped waypoints. Very interesting that TomTom Go has the same issue! Brilliant, brilliant work Thanks
