@pad-0 for me too, the street view option was essential for my registration! otherwise there are many other route planners, like kurviger, the first one that comes to mind, who can do the same things!

@richard-archdeacon You aren’t missing anything. WYSIWYG! I guess you’ve probably sussed this, but if you open the route you want to navigate in Routeplanner before going to Navigation, that route will at least be at the top of your long, folder-less list in Navigation. That's about as good as it gets despite this being a commonly requested area for development. Yet invading an individual’s routes with other people’s photos has been deemed of huge importance and rushed into existence!🤪

@pad-0 One has to use other apps to get the correct locations and transplant them into MRA. @Myrouteapp hasn’t come around to these modern times yet but more and more users are driving electric.

I ended up doing the same sort of trial and error exercise - you are quite right MRA could make this much clearer. I imagine a lot of users spend time creating a really good route for themselves, only to be disappointed when they come to actually ride it. Sorting this out would enhance usability...

@herko-ter-horst "...troubles with getting that information onto the GPS device..." As I tried to point out earlier - the departure or duration information isn't being exported from MRA in the GPX files - so if you want it in the GPS you have to enter it from the GPS front panel. (Or, use Basecamp to read the MRA file and generate a proper GPS file.) As to why it's significant let me give you an example from last year's riding season - I was riding back to New Hampshire from the BMW Performance Center in South Carolina and wanted to have lunch with a friend on the outer banks of North Carolina. He had both selected the lunch spot and also the time to coordinate with his own schedule. Building the route with predicted duration times at breakfast and fuel stops and setting the restaurant as the trip endpoint gave me a reading on the GPS screen as to my predicted arrival time. It was updated continuously - if I was ahead of schedule I knew it and if I was behind I knew it. Hope this is clear and if you don't use the tools on your belt the same way I do, that's ok with me. @manfred-okunneck I have the Garmin Zumo XT. There are 2 different options for the the XT GPX1.2 (Route, Track, POI) Using this GPX Type you will only see the VIA Points “Stops” on the Map. The full route is available based on the Shaping Points but they are not shown on the XT Map. GPX1.1 (Route, Track, POI) will display both the Via Points and Shaping points on the XT Map. I have no idea on the Garmin Camper 890 but there are members and Admins on the Forum here that will be able to guide you on the correct GPX types to use for that device.
