You can’t toggle off the route points.
My suggestion is to add routes not merge them. This allows you to see the track lines of the added route. It’s useful for seeing daily routes of a tour.

@Steve-Lynch, ben wel bang dat we daar even op moeten wachten. De prio ligt nu op Next natuurlijk. Maar die planner functie is wel echt complementair aan het gebruik van tracks in Next, dus wie weet... 😉

Hi, I think it is possible to copy the needed text out of the PDF File (it is not grafics only). So can Edit and use what you need.

Ich mag auch die Tom-Tom-Curvy-Routen und benutze sie ständig.

Der Trick, sie in die Here-Karte zu bekommen, besteht darin, die TT-generierte Route als GPX1.1 (Track, POI) zu speichern und sie dann erneut in die Here-Karte zu importieren.
An dieser Stelle können Sie dann einfach den Route-Track öffnen und die Route als Route-Track in MRA Next ausführen.

Zover ik weet is Tread alleen voor IOS of Android beschikbaar.
Als je de MRA Mobile app gebruikt open je op de gebruikelijke wijze een route en kies vervolgens voor Download.
Ik heb een iPhone en kies dan voor 'Export' en in de lijst van apps staat dan ook Tread.
Kijk voor meer info in de Handleiding MyRoute-app Mobile bij Routes exporteren.
(ik heb geen XT2 dus kan dit niet zelf verifiëren)

@Nick-Dawson Thanks Nick, I'll give that a go. The issue is compounded by the Garmin/ BMW Nav 6 always being low on battery despite hours of mains charging, so it 'dies' just as I'm trying to do something !

Deze combinatie heeft tot nu toe m'n telefoon 'heel' gehouden, totaal niets gemerkt van problemen met de camera of wat dan ook van de telefoon.

Ik denk dat die trillingsdemping erg belangrijk is, maar er zijn tegenwoordig meerdere systemen op de markt die dit hebben.

I think you are asking what to do if you are on the road with the BMW Connected app and need to restart the route for some reason or how to restart the route if you have deviated from the route along the way.

The app has two ways to start the route:
1: Via starting point
If you use this option, the app will create a route from your current location to the starting point of your route. You can then drive the entire planned route.
2: Straight route
If you take this choice, the route will be created from your current location to the nearest point on the route. You can then continue on the remaining planned route.

I myself often use choice 2 if, for example, if I have stopped the route to insert a gasstop or lunch/coffee stop.
(there is a third choice to start a route but I find it useless and I have not used it enough to go into it. In that case the route will be shown on your screen and you will drive there on your own).

@TommekenTom, Your Goldmembership is a subscription to (the best there is!) planner tool. You can still use that to create routes for your TomTom (deducted from your forumname 😉 ). The Navigation app always had a separate subscription, that is not changing. It's just being integrated into 1 app.

@Simon-Wood I think your route looks a bit like a mess. What is the meaning of waypoint 4 between 12 and 13?

The other points ensure that a loop is constantly made. I understand that the expand function can't handle that.

@Maurice-Paulus, do you have lifetime on MRA online planner, or also on MRA Navigation? I don't see that banner anywhere. I like to think it's because I already have what they are advertising 😉

Routes you have to import on your XT, otherwise use the connector

Het gaat tijdens jouw vakantie uiteraard niet anders als dat het zou gaan als je thuis bent. Check 's avonds op de wifi van je hotel of je de update kunt installeren. Voor mij werken telkens na een update de kaart-updates niet. Ik leeg dan de opslag en download de kaarten opnieuw. Neem daar als dat nodig is even de tijd voor, en ik denk niet dat je een probleem gaat ondervinden.

Ik zou voor de zekerheid wel nog de oude Navigation app geïnstalleerd houden, want die werkt uiteraard ook prima.
