@Hans-van-de-Ven-MRA-Master Admittedly I have a slow internet connection, but changing the direction does not seem to make any difference to the outcome. If I enlarge the circle enough to embrace the sea it fails to make a route even with the "Surprise Me" button. If only a very small section of the sea is included it makes a round trip OK when using the "surprise Me" button. We need to include a lot of sea to get a decent route as have to go up the west cost via Kapiti then cross the range to the Wairarapa and come down to Masterton before crossing the Rimuataka hill road (Highway 2) back to Wellington.

@James-Schnoor it has to be a KMZ file. Easy to install and they do work. Used Caltopo a lot because it would output a KMZ file that I could place on the Garmin Instructions here: https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=xoI2VWlekh6fHYGZ78cNI8 However, looking at the map you are after and visiting the Freizeitkarte site (I have used these on my XT device) but these were downloaded as a map image file (gmapsupp.img). https://www.freizeitkarte-osm.de/garmin/de/index.html Installation: https://www.freizeitkarte-osm.de/garmin/de/installation.html

@Chris-Peltz l simply use the waypoint list to find a waypoint at the approx distance I need (or time for breaks) and then look for a gas station or someplace to take a break. I will normally add a viapoint for breaks.

@James-Schnoor, OSM is highly dependent on user input. Just like wiki. If someone adds the route, it will be there. I think HERE is more dependent on official government data, which we all know usually is slow

@Tim-Thompson, Sure, Apple stuff is also made in China. The difference is in the local support.

@Derek-a said in Unsubscribe: It has took my money out of bank this month for a year You can of course withdraw the permission to collect due from your creditcard at the provider of your creditcard. Then the subscription will fall back to the free one. Like @Jack-van-Tilburg already asked, we are interested in the "why", if you care to share that with us.

@Jürgen-Köhler bloxd io said in Create an own POI library: Hi everyone, I+d like to create an own POI library, which I then can add to new routes. Can anyone give me an information how to do that? Greetings, Jürgen Go to the CSV to OV2 Converter using the link in Resources. Click “Choose File” and locate your CSV file for conversion. Double-click it to select. Click “Start Conversion” and wait for the converter to convert your files. The TomTom POI file will automatically download, ready to be used with your TomTom GPS software. Alternatively, you can add POI files to TomTom GPS units using TomTom’s MyTomTom or HOME software1.

@Daniel-Moreillon pizza tower said in Sauvegarde tomtom to MyRoute: J’ai enregistré un itinéraire avec mon tomtom. Puis-je l’enregistrer dans l’application MyRoute ? I recorded a route with my tomtom. Can I register it in the MyRoute app? Yes, you can export route files from MyRoute-app to your TomTom navigation device. You can do this manually or wirelessly. You can also create and customize routes with TomTom MyDrive on mydrive. tomtom. com. The routes you create are saved to your account and can be synced to your navigation device

@Tony-curley I see the same thing. The GPX-file is not accessible on my iPhone for some reason, although it is accessible on my Mac using Apple Mail.

@John-Munizza Have a look at the Support page to get you started. There are also some excellent MRA videos to help you see what you can do. Perhaps try this via and shaping points first. There are lot of others but some of the older ones (with the older looking interface) will give you an good understanding of how MRA works. Hope this helps.

@Redbarn Thanks for the explanation. There could be a number of reasons why you were instructed to turn back and without seeing your route it is difficult to pinpoint the exact cause. The app has the ability to automatically skip route points but it needs a little time to ensure that skipping was your intention. You can also manually skip a route point by a long press on the particular one that you wish to skip. I really think you should persevere with the app a little longer, have you read the manual?
