Why am I being asked to subscribe, when converting route to Gold, when I have paid for lifetime membership..

@Bill-Harrison Your question isnโt clear, what do you mean when you say: โconverting route to Goldโ?
-
Like @Nick-Carthew said, the question is quite unclear... In general there are two possibilities:
- you are trying to navigate with the app, while not having subscribed to a Navigation license
- you subscribed to a Gold License with another account as what you are currently using in the planner (YES that happens...
)

Not sure how to make this any clearer.
Route is created in Default (open street maps) and converted to Gold in the drop down window "Tom Tom gold"Equally, when I come to open a route from one of my folders. e.g. Bike Rides 2025. A new window opens "MRA routplanner Gold is required for this action" with an orange upgrade button.
Hope this helps

@Bill-Harrison It seems to me as though you do not have a Gold route planner subscription and you are trying to access items that are for Gold subscriptions only.

@Bill-Harrison, I guess that leaves my second suggestion above. Without being aware of it, you obviously use multiple accounts. If you create a ticket in the support-page, they can likely help you to merge those into one.

All my planning is done via a PC and only use my mobile phone app to view and forward maps to other Tom Tom account holders.
Up until today, I have planned 24 routes this year without any issues, as a Gold member.
Now when I come to open any one the 24 routes, I am being asked to upgrade to Gold. These routes were created in Tom Tom Gold. -

This is the point that I am making. I do have lifetime Gold membership.

@Bill-Harrison When I search for Bill Harrison in the website I can see two profiles. One has a cat as a profile picture similar to your forum profile picture, this profile has a lifetime navigation subscription.
The second profile has no profile picture but it does have a Gold route planner subscription but not lifetime Gold.I suspect @Con-Hennekens is correct and you have two MRA profiles.
-
Then admin needs to sort this one out.
I am now trying to create a route for a fellow Tom Tom member. Normally created in (default Street maps or Tom tom Gold) of which I can now do neither.
Instead, a window drops down to tell me I can only create route in (HERE/Tom Tom Map) -

The one with my cat is the only one I can see and login to.
Thanks for bringing this to the light

@Bill-Harrison I suggest opening a support ticket so that your two accounts can be merged. Having said that Iโm not sure that itโs possible, but you certainly need to open a support ticket.
