@Andrew-William-Jones Can I ask what’s wrong with the RouteXpert routes?
You don’t have to use a RouteXpert route in its entirety, you can adjust it to suit your needs. -

@Andrew-William-Jones On Facebook I have found a few groups who are also active on MRA. These are a few (mainly Belgian) groups with a lot of routes. I'm sure there are a few British groups too.
Otherwise download gpx files of your region on the web.

Sometimes there just aren't many in the region

There is no method of searching for them. Public routes can be shared by the maker, through hyperlinks or embedded in their own website. Like @Kenny-Thierens explains, it is a good idea to look for some MRA groups. Within a group you can browse through routes published in that group.

In the past, you could see everyone's routes (at least the public ones) in the MRA library. That hasn't been possible for years now... perhaps a bit of a loss. Of course, there was also a lot of junk among them, but a user library alongside an expert library wouldn't be a bad idea.

@Bart-De-Medts that would be very nice indeed.
Or a seperate forum topic for users who want to share their public routes/tracks. Possibly subdivided into country and region. -

I think it is much more clever for sharing them in groups for each country or region. But instead of everyone creating their own groups for that purpose, to have some officially MRA maintained groups per region.
As far as the library map goes, it would perhaps be sensible to be able to switch user-routes on/off. But keep in mind that the concept of Xpert routes was thought up to guarantee some quality standard, which in the start-up fase, like @Bart-De-Medts described, was far from met for the user-routes.
