Trouble with navigating offline
-
Friends, I am having trouble using MRA offline. I have prepared a number of routes for a trip we are starting tomorrow. I can open the route from the route menu. I want to download the route so I can use offline mode to avoid issues where there is little cell coverage. With the route open, I click on the download arrow. If I choose "sync" and press "download," nothing happens. I was expecting an acknowledgement that the file has been saved, but, nothing. On the other hand, if I choose gpx 1.1 (route, track, POI) I get a "file saved" acknowledgement.
When I go to the Downloads screen, the GPX file is there, but the native MRA route is not.
What am I missing? MRA version 4.3.8, Android 12. Regional maps are downladed. I can't find anything relevant in the manuals. And we are starting a group ride tomorrow in an area that will have spotty cell coverage, so riding in offline mode is important.
I thought I was well prepared in advance, but now, yikes! I would appreciate any suggestions or references to manual sections.
Thanks for any help.

@Vincent-Curren I think the routes are synced to your phone if you’ve chosen to sync your library of routes. So you just start them on the phone. I’ve a sacrificial phone with no SIM card only WiFi and a synced library and it works fine offline, as long as the routes I need are synced on Wi-Fi before I use them.

...but you need to switch on "synch all" - (one time action). And if you have planned a new route on PC, also your phone need to be online, to get the new route automatically synched. Just the, you can start your offline trip
