@Corjan-Meijerink I'm just a guest here but it seems if you want to continue deeper technical aspects of a product rather than user experience than a new topic should/ could be started or an older one picked back up imho.

@Kenny-1 I am not sure what you mean? We talk about Remotek and I wanted to know what is supported by this device.
        Isn't that also your question?

@Jörgen Perhaps it is a problem with the language but it seems that there are a handful of people involved in some deeper technical issues regarding the programming and specific button functions on the Remotek unit and NOT the general user experience. Basically, referring to my initial post I was only trying to get the general user experience for this brand of controller. I'm not interested in "Detailed" technical issues and the resolution of them. It is enough for me to know there are certain issues , or the quality / price relationship is good or not good, or it is robust or not, or the buttons are easy to operate etc. If you have ongoing programming issues you'd like to explore and discuss, than that is ok and can be a good thing, but open a new thread for that under a technical topic please.

In my opinion it is very good product, easy to install (no wire), so easy to move between motorcycles. The buttons work very reliably and it makes a good impression.

My biggest issue with the Remotek from a user experience perspective is that they put alternative functions in a double click action.
With how the device is mounted and the robustness of the buttons (in general a good thing, nice hard & firm click) it is almost impossible to double click while driving 😉

All other controllers I know of use a long click specifically for this issue.

@Corjan-Meijerink The best option would be to have both double-click and long press to be used for different actions 🙂 It is not a big deal for me to double-click and switching between selected apps is very good idea - unfortunately it is covering next waypoint omitting, because it is right double-click.

@Corjan-Meijerink Thank you Corjan. On further research and recommendation I have purchased a SilverFox. I only have 1 bike and I need heavy duty and ease of operation.

Hi @Kenny-1 apologies if I derailed the thread by pointing out the one issue I have with the Remotek.
People here are extremely helpful so they have tried to assist / discuss my issue, sounds like it was just more info than you required.

Back to your original question, another huge plus point I think for the Remotek is that it completely wireless, no need for external cabling, its power comes from an internal battery, so no need for any connections whatsoever to the bike.

Best of luck with the Silver Fox, am sure you will love it,
I would say any bluetooth controller makes using MRA so so much easier than fumbled glove presses.
IMO a controller is a must / nobrainer for MRA, so you are definitely on the right track

                        @Kenny-1

I deliberately opted for the Remotek One under the iOS use. It can do more than I need, and is very optimized.

The battery lasts several years and it is easy to assemble, while also being used off-road.

To each his own solution, in the end it should always work without problems.

@Hubert-Thoring Very good Hubert and the photo is very much appreciated. It looks good. I completely agree with everyone must find the solution that works for them. That is really what matters.

@Brian-McG Hi Brian, you didn't derail anything imho. Just pointing out a shortcoming you've encountered is fine and part of the discussion. Thanks for comment and I agree that any controller that works for the user is way better than a gloved finger and much more safe.
