No voice prompts on Android phone

Hi, just been trying using Navigation in my car, on a Samsung phone. I am not getting any voice prompts, except for the very first turn prompt on one route I was following. Tried 4 different short routes.
As far as I can see voice prompts are turned on and the volume turned up.
App verson is 4.3.3. In Navigation settings everything seems to be on and voice prompts on in the route menu. I am not using Android Auto.
Any suggestions? I will raise a ticket otherwise. Everything else seems to be fine with the navigation.

I would first check the Bluetooth (BT) connection with the cell phone:

1. Turn off BT so that the announcement is made directly on the cell phone

If that works:

2. Pair the cell phone with the car media

1. BT Ausschalten damit die Ansage am Handy direkterfolgt

that's a good idea, thanks.
I did, briefly, get a red bluetooth symbol appearing in the sound slider. Which i thought odd but, could not repeat it.

Hi @Tony-13 I suspect you are doing nothing wrong, you just need to know the secret codes !

Thanks, useful information.
On this occassion it was asimple route with no waypoints, I just wanted junctions announced.
A, fortunetly, boring point. I have also been using Android Auto with no issues. Set up is on Ford SYNC3 and Samsung S20. Battery drain and heating of the phone are reasonable. Great work from the team
