Hello - just come back from European trip using MRA app and route planner and generally great but a couple of times we set off - got a long way through the planned route to suddenly be notified that the route was not possible due to road closures and the app then replanned. One of these was in the Austrian Alps and we spent 2 hours retracting our steps - very frustrating!! The roads had been closed for months due to landslides but I saw no warnings in either the route planner or the app. Am I missing a setting - why does it not warn you about these issues before setting off - would have saved a load of time. Thanks

@Jonathan-10 The Traffic overlay map in the route planner will show closed roads at the planning stage. Always best to check before you start, especially in mountainous areas.

I would expect that when you start navigation the route would recalculate for any closures.
Is it possible MRA did this and you did not notice the route length/time had changed from what you had planned?
And a warning would be nice if it does this

It's correct that the planner lacks these warnings.
The app itself will display warnings along the route immediately but only notify you of such a bit before.

I'll see if I can improve it a bit for the app! 🙂

You will receive a warning in the app before starting navigation if there are any violations as of version 4.3.1 🙂

That line is worthy of mentioning in the announcement topic 😉
