You have the problem that you can not reach the "close" button.

I've thought about the problem, but haven't tried the idea yet.
You would have to interrupt the online connection, as I used to do with the TomTom Rider, so that any closures cannot be included in the route calculation in the first place.
With MRA, you would have to download the route beforehand so that it is available offline and, of course, the maps for this region would also have to be downloaded.
Then switch MRA to offline mode and load the route again. It may also be necessary to temporarily disable the data download. You'll have to give it a try.

I tried it again, and it looks like that just traffic will be considered in calculation, a total closure will always be counted independent of the settings.

I think the long term maintenance closures are map data, while traffic jams and seasonal closures are traffic data from a different source within HERE. But it is guesswork.
