Sometimes when stopping at a traffic light, the map screen rotates around as if its 'lost'. Having an additional bearing would be helpful.

If the map rotates as if it is lost, that's an indication that the GPS stream does not deliver an accurate heading. The compass would rotate too...

A little off topic, but still relevant:
I think in the MRA app the heading is based on GPS stream data only. Due to the fact while standing still (for a traffic light e.g.), small inaccuracies make the heading turn like bezirk, Some phone have "real" compasses, that do not suffer from this. Mine does. In GMaps for example, the heading is absolutely stable, and does not rotate while standing stil.

Absolutely right!
The compass in smartphones is not really reliable either, because it is affected by a lot of interference. It's not for nothing that the compass on a large ship is right at the top and alone on the deck above the bridge and is then read via a mirror. Well, at least back then ...
But it would be a great help and a relief if the chart remained stationary. At best, the compass could then compensate for handlebar movements, as the built-in map apps do.
It is certainly a little more demanding than it sounds here, but ultimately it is extremely helpful, especially at roadworks and for ad hoc planning in the driver's brain, if I can see the best direction to turn in.
A simple alternative would be to show North-Up, but then the place marker would have to be tracked and not just turn in circles.
If all that doesn't help, it should at least show the direction in which the route continues, so that people like me who have a bad feeling for the direction are taken by the hand.
Your navigation is a joy and is currently working very well again, and the number of exits is also back to normal.
But the better is the enemy of the good!
Thanks for the great app, and for the route planning anyway.
