Fuel Station Search Issue

Hi,
I was excited to read the news that POI's such as Fuel Stations would be shown on the Nav screen on pressing the relevant icon ,,, and as I'm on my way to a big tour soon, I thought I'd check out the functionality locally to where I live - the Isle of Man.
The Isle of Man has around 20 fuel stations in total, 8 of them in the capital - Douglas.
This is illustrated by a screenshot from Google Maps, and it's confirmed by a screenshot taken from the MRA online planner (see images).
However, the Nav app shows only 2 fuels stations for the entire island, none of them in Douglas. ... and this is with live navigation, not offline. (see image).
If this problem is replicated across Europe, then the fuel station search will be quite misleading, and certainly not reliable.
Am I doing something wrong - have I missed a setting ? If not, then I guess this is a bug that I'm reporting

@Jem-Cotton What happens when you zoom in on the map? When I do that in my area, I see more gas stations appear as I zoom in. Most of them disappear when I zoom out again.

It actually makes no difference even if I zoom in to say Douglas (where I know there are 8 fuel stations)., right in to the street level - the map layer of the app doesn't seem to have any fuel stations in the town at all.
The list that accompanies the search also only has the 2 entries, none of which are in Douglas.
Strange that the MRA online planner has all of the fuel stations on it's overlay map
