Sygic and Ducati Multistrada
-
I love MRA and the App, but I do tend to use a Zumo XT on my Multistrada.
I had high hopes when I bought my new V4 Multi that the Sygic function would be a good option for integrated navigation. Sadly it's useless!
I doubt it very much but is there any way you could persuade Ducati to integrate MRA into their bikes!
Either that or find a way of transferring .gpx files to Sygic?

@Chris-Hoskins It is possible to send a gpx to Sygic on your Multistrada. I have done it in the past as a testcase.
But being a hardcore MRA user and a user of a Garmin device, I don't use that method. I send my gpx files to my Zümo XT installed on the Multistrada through using the MRA app and the Garmin Drive app. -
@Rob-Veerman Likewise I use the Garmin in preference. Can you advise how to send it to the Sygic (from iPhone preferably)?

@Chris-Hoskins I will make a description but it wil take a day or two as I am on the road now.

Hi.
I use Sygic in my car. Before MRA(-App), I figured it this way out:
You can send your .gpx to your phone. Either by iCloud, iMessage, Mail or just drop it with Finder there. (Ehm...on Android similar)
Then on the phone touch that file and it will ask you, if you want to open it with Sygic. (Otherwise just select Sygic from the suggested apps.)The other (and much easier way) is to import your gpx into Kurviger.de. There is an option to export to Sygic. If you click the link, it opens the route in Sygic. In case of more days planning, just send one route after the other. So you will have to click every day a new link.
For me at least, I decided to trash all those apps and go with MRA. It's easy and it works like Calimoto or Kurviger (plan on PC/Mac and have it on Phone without hassle).
