When I am planning my route to and from England, I use the chunnel. Everytime the route wants me to use a ferry, how can I avoid the ferry in my planning?

wrote on 11 Apr 2024, 15:22 last edited by Skellum 4 Nov 2024, 15:25@Patrick-Kelley Whenever I travel from the UK to Europe, I always end my route at either a Ferry terminal or Chunnel Terminal (Exit port) and then start a new route from the port/terminal I have arrived in to my destination, rather than trying to include the ferry/train journey as part of my route.

@Patrick-Kelley Place your route point on the slip road of the M20 and similar in France.

It works for me too (in the route planner/web interface), like in @Nick-Carthew's example. It works on all maps (HERE, TomTom and OSM).

@Patrick-Kelley For some reason, the OpenStreetMap that you planned this route on, doesn’t want to take the tunnel. I would suggest switching to the HERE or TomTom planning maps. Whatever one is best for your navigation device.

another question, when using the App, where can I changes from MPH to KM?
