New Beta! (v4.0.5)

@Corjan-Meijerink Not sure what others are seeing but the 3-4 second cursor position lag that I was seeing with Android appears to be much improved. Useful to know what others have seen with this beta. Running Android 14 as well (did try the beta previously) and the position of the cursor is so much better and I am not running Flitsmeister in the background. More testing needed but this is looking good. New SDK helping?

@Dave-J-0 sure hope so! Would mean HERE is improving the issues we are reporting
Very happy to hear that is has improved.

@Dave-J-0 I'm still seeing a lag and no improvement at all. FM is still doing wonders.

@Stanisław before the weekend! Apple always takes some more time to check the compliance
@Corjan-Meijerink Thanks, so I am waiting. Seems to be great improvement!

You know Google have overdone it with their excessive conformance checks when your Apple build is announced as available before Android!
[EDIT: Android is there too. I just had to manually update it.]

@richtea999 I got Android build 4.0.5 223 last night. Android were a lot quicker with Apple dropping about 30 mins ago.

@Dave-J-0 You're probably right Dave. I am missing notifications of app updates. I probably switched them off.
Users do that sort of thing. Idiots. -
Loving the extra information

Ladies and gentlemen! We are back
A month after our last Beta update, it's time for a new one.
Yes, it has been a slightly longer wait than we anticipated but it's gonna be a nice one! Delay was caused due to some development issues / obstacles, illness and vacation. The 4.0.5 beta will become available later this week - before the weekend.
This update does however contain so much new features and improvements that by time you are halfway reading this post, you've already forgotten the time you had to wait
CarPlay & Android Auto improvements
As promised, we would keep working on the CP / AA module.
We've done that!We now show:
- Speedlimit
- Current speed
- Lane assistance
- Camera / Truck warnings
From CP / AA you can now also:
- Change route avoid options
- Search for stops along your route
- Skip waypoints
Amazing right?
With this update we believe that CarPlay & Android Auto finally get the level it deserves.
Nearby fuel stops
The app will actively suggest an efficient nearby fuel stop on your route - from MRA with
This is displayed instead of the next instruction and we've increased the size of this element
Tapping the icon will add the fuel stop to your route, keeping your original route as intended. If you want to turn this off, you can do so from the functional settings.
Note: skipping extra stops, will not skip them but totally remove them from your route. Keeping your original waypoint count as planned.
Search for stop while navigating
Besides the nearby fuel suggestions, you can also search yourself!
Exactly the same search functionality as you are used to is available while navigating. Simply open the menu and search for a stopAs with nearby fuel stops, the search results are added efficiently along your route.
Note: skipping extra stops, will not skip them but totally remove them from your route. Keeping your original waypoint count as planned.
Custom tilt level
Do you prefer more horizon? Of less?
A discussion of the past! You can now choose your own tilt level from the map configuration settings.
Fixed issues
- Motorhome not allowed to use highway when avoiding toll
- Better position accuracy on (older, mostly Android) devices
- Logic to when detailed lane assist should kick in
- CarPlay showing multiple position indicators after switching between apps
- CarPlay iconsize next maneuver very small
- GPX files not opening with the app
- Incorrect distances shown to the next maneuver
- General stability improvements
Minor features
- CP / AA: Now includes translations, respecting your language preference
- New icons for speed warnings
- Increased size of next maneuver widget
- Preparation for Carpe Iter support (only available to their development team)
- Navigations can be resumed using BT controllers / input devices
- Previous camera tracking mode is respected when refocussing the camera (in short: compass tap behavior
)
- Newest HERE SDK (4.15.5)
Known issues in this Beta
- Offline maps update might not be available (contacted HERE)
- Battery usage (ongoing issue with HERE)
- Roundabouts sometimes show incorrect exit direction
- Other common minor issues shared in the past weeks / month
We are looking forward to all your feedback!
Thanks so much for your continuing participation in the Beta program.
Cheers,
Corjan@Corjan-Meijerink update 405.223 is available in the Google Store thnkx team

@Francisco-Castro Well then! That's some constructive criticism we can work with. I have no idea which bug you're talking about. Voice commands are working smoothly on this end. Only the sound level, in combination with other media you're playing at the same time, can improve. I don't consider that a bug.
And I find the notion of an expensive lifetime account a bit exaggerated. As an early adopter, you did get a nice discount. Spread out your purchase over the rest of your life, and I hope you can keep navigating for as long as you live. What are you even talking about?Keep in mind that you're talking to a two-headed design team. With that in mind, a mountain of work has been done that's truly impressive!

Basically, when I start a route, the voice instructions are a mix of english and my mother language. And not only it's been like this for months (and i already contacted MyRoute-app customer by e-mail right at the beginning), but also i already saw other people talking about the same.
If it's working fine in Dutch, I'm (sincerely) happy for you.
Regarding the other comments, I already mentioned the issue by email on 19th June and they said they had noted it and a ticket would be created.
So, do I need to always be explaining the bug? I think there's communication between the team, and if a ticket was created...Oh, thanks for the "-2" on my "reputation"...

Oh, thanks for the "-2" on my "reputation"...Since it is a forum accessible to all MRA users, I find the tone in your topic not okay. At least 1500 users (the beta testers) can read this and contemplate their thoughts on it, just as I am doing. Why not simply explain what you mean? That way, you won't receive these reactions either!

Hi,
Yes, and now started to be only in english but still, with a bad pronunciation ("...turn rrright").
When I sent an e-mail to the support, I even attached a video recording of this happening. -

Hi,
Maybe. It was a mix of Portuguese and English with a bad pronunciation ("...turn rrright..."). Now it's only in (the same) english and i can't even find where to change it. -
@Francisco-Castro It like sounds like a reasonable request. However, from MRA's point of view each translation probably costs quite a lot (I've done something similar - it definitely wasn't cheap!), so they may have to pick and choose the next most popular langauge as they progress, and it might not be Portuguese yet.
So I guess your direct question is:
- Is Portguese supported for speech output?
Maybe MRA could list the languages currently supported. That wouldn't help you personally, but that would set it out clearly for newcomers.
And reputation? Don't worry. Nobody looks - but I've voted +1 because your explanation is much clearer.

Hey Next Team,
@Corjan-Meijerink : Hey Corjan,
