No sound through Cardo Headset
-
HI All.. first time posting here in the forum. I have been using the MRA app and it works great so far on my iPhone. The only recent issue I seem to be having is not being able to hear the route directions through my Cardo packtalk Bold headset. I have my phone connected to the headset and Apple Maps and Google maps directions come through clear..however nothing from MRA app. I checked the navigation settings in the app and it is set to max volume with voice prompts on but nothing comes through the headset. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Welcome to the Forum.
Personally I never use Voice Prompts but there are plenty that do and I am sure you will get a resolution to your issue. -
Hi @JonLicht71 and welcome.
I too use a Cardo Packtalk Bold and if I am riding on my own the turn by turn instructions come through loud and clear, however if I am connected via DMC or Bluetooth to my wife on her bike then the instructions are very quiet, almost silent.
I have the preference set via the Cardo app for navigation instructions to override all other devices including intercom. I tested to see if music and radio were interrupted for route instructions and they were. For me, it seems as if the app's trigger to interrupt the intercom is not being recognised by Cardo.
