Description field for route-tracks

Apparently there is only a description field for routes in the "Route Information", but not for route-tracks.

And when saving a route (GPX1.1 and GPX 1.2), the <rte> contains the <desc> but the <trk> does not.
Is there a particular reason for this distinction?

OK, let me put it this way:

I would appreciate an improvement in the "Description" field:

1. within MRA a description should also be available for route-tracks, not only for routes.

2. when importing a GPX file, an existing <desc> should be taken over, both when importing as route and as route-track

3. when saving a route as a GPX file (1.1 or 1.2), an existing description should also be created for <trk> as <desc>, not only for <rte> - and accordingly when saving a route-track.

I would prefer to save my trips within MRA as route-tracks instead of routes and would like to use a track for further processing outside MRA, so these extensions would be helpful.
