Sound issues in my route app for android auto

After the latest update, I'm now able to to see the screen instead of it appearing black.
What I am experiencing now is a lack of spoken volume. This is very low even though I have set the narration to high.
I've also noticed that when playing music, this is not muted when route instructions are spoken.
Can you investigate this please?

@Nigel-Bilton, I don't use AA, but on my phone I had similar experience where the audio ducking does not work. I found that if you play the music first, and then start the app after the music, the audio ducking seems to work normally. Can you try this and report back?

Yes, I'll give that a try and see how I get on. Can I ask how you are playing your music.....is it from your phone or through the car system?

@Nigel-Bilton, I always stream from my phone. My older car system does not allow radio and external navigation to be audible simultaneously. So often use Youtube Music or TuneIn Radio on the phone itself, equal to how most people use their helmet headset..

Hi Con, I tried running my music player on my phone first and then went back into my route and the audio ducking was working great so a big thanks for that
