Hey all!
It's only a day after release but the first update is already on it's way!
We've performed some critical fixes and added some nifty new features.
The biggest change is related to Android Auto!
Android Auto
Up until today, you couldn't use Android Auto unless you first opened the app on your phone. Very inconvenient.
As of now, you can leave the app close, connect Android Auto and away you go
We know that you can still only open your last route from Android Auto - but rest assured, we are working on more CarPlay / Android Auto features as we speak!
First up: favourites.A minor fixed issue in Android Auto is that miles were shown as yards
More settings
There are two more functional settings!
Are you annoyed by us recommending using the HERE map when starting navigation for planned routes? Turn it off.
Do you always want the choice for route or track navigation? You can enable this too!
Do you not understand what track navigation is? Read the manual first!Stuck on account screen?
Fixed! As a result of this, you are all forced to log in again after downloading the update.Audio instructions
We further improved the quality & stability of the audio. Meaning that voice instructions should now be played as they should. Lowering the played music and resuming music on full volume should now also be consistent.Statement regarding updating offline maps
Some users experience issues with downloading the (mandatory) update. If you still have this issue, please try reinstalling the app completely. In this update, we've improved some internal logging that helps us in solving the issue. If you therefore are still stuck in the update, please let us know!Minor changes
- Swapped zoom in / out buttons
- Improved offline map download notifications
- Fixed opening routes set to "Friends" privacy when the app was no yet booted
- Improved translations

On Android how do we get 4.0.1 ?
Will it be a direct download of 4.0.1 or do we have to choose the βJoin Betaβ option in the Playstore?You donβt stop riding when you get old, you get old when you stop riding.
