On line and off line navigation

I know how to upload off line maps and routes for total off line navigation and load routes for live navigation which shows Traffic and any time delays.
My question is: I want to be able to use live navigation with traffic and time delays but if my signal is lost it will revert to off line use and back to live navigation when the signal returns, Does this happen automatically in live navigation mode as I haven't witnessed this to date. -

With the latest update of today, downloading Offline maps goes much faster (still takes some time though).

Thats funny. My update of the offline maps took only 3 min or so. Previously, it took more than 15 min.Maybe it's because I'm sitting next to my main Mesh route
