      Bonjour,
J'ai acheté le programme "Navigation by My Route APP" est ce qu'il va basculer directement vers le nouveau programme "Navigation Next" ? ou faudra-t-il l'acheter a nouveau?

      Bonne route

@Eric-30 Yes, it will be added as a module to the free MRA Mobile app.

No, you do not have to buy it again. The new app makes use of the same license you already have. So conversion to the new app is totally free!

I am not affiliated with MyRoute-App. The help I am offering is entirely voluntary.
I am just an enthusiastic user, and hope you will be one too!

Hi all. I'm confused by the My Route App licensing.... I've previously tried My Route App Gold as I've had both Garmin and BMW Nav 6 units. Conversion to get the correct shaping/waypoints etc has been a pain and I've often had issues with re-routing back to the start of the ride because the unit hasn't registered my being at the start correctly. Don't get me started on waypoint skipping....

I have also tried Calimoto. I love the online route planner and the phone app works very well too. I find the problem with that app is the twisty routes option(s). It will take you down farm tracks which aren't even green lanes! It will also dive off main roads to take you through small towns and villages before putting you back on to the main road you just left. I'm not renewing my subscription.

Navigation Next looks really interesting and I would be keen to give it a try. What I can't figure is whether a subscription to this provides access to the online routing app such that you can use the twisty features to generate a route online and then run the route through the phone app either by generating a gpx and then importing it or directly because the online and Next account/username is linked. Can anyone explain what online access is available with a Next subscription or do you need to plan a route via the mobile/tablet app in order to access all the more advanced features of Next?

I'm aware that you can plan a route via the free online routing. I've done this several times and uploaded a generated GPX file for my bike's built in 'turn by turn' navigation system and this has worked well. Auto-recalc of route also works on imported GPX files if you miss a waypoint so it almost fully meets my needs.

So, basically, I'm trying to figure out what Navigation Next will give me. Appreciate any insight to this.

@Derek-James a subscription to Nav Next will open up the Navigation Module(after release date) in the recently released MRA Mobile App. The nav subscription as it is currently sold will currently provide you access to the standalone MRA Navigation app which, as soon as Nav Next is released, will be discontinued after which the nav module inside the Mra Mobile App will take over. Becoming a Nav Next Beta tester provides you access to the Beta MRA Mobile App which already includes the Nav Module.

Buying Nav Next will NOT open up all the MRA Gold functions within the online routeplanner. These are seperate subscription s. If you buy the nav subscription you do get access to the Here map in the routeplanner as the nav app uses the here platform.

In conclusion; you can buy either a MRA Gold subscription for all the great gold routeplanner features, or you can buy the standalone Nav subscription and created routes using the basic routeplanner features but in Here map ...

Better would be to have them both, even better would be to become lifetime subscribed to both haha!

              Manks bu'j te bange.
