Off Line Route Calculation
-
I had Off Line Mode turned on
(although I do not understand this option. For me MRA should do everything Off Line, no need for the user to turn on and off. The times when it needs to be On Line should be minimal, updating or downloading maps, downloading routs from the main app or searching for user produced routes. Then if no connection is available a message can be displayed to the user.)
I searched for a location and got the message shown even though all UK maps are downloaded:
Why did it fail? It should calculate the rout Off Line with maps downloaded?
I cancelled and tried again but got the following message:
In the context of MRA being able to work Off Line I do not understand the message?After trying to continue I got the following message. After closing the app I received it a further 2 times.
I realise now that I should have chosen the "Send Feedback" option , which I will do next time.

@Angelo-Greco Thank you for reporting.

Just had a similar thing happen to me.
I had Offline Maps on.
The cause for me was that an Update was pending for the Offline Maps.
I ran the update and all is fine now.
Not sure if that is relevant to @Angelo-Greco also? -
@Lynchy67 The blonde god is currently away from his desk, but I’m sure that he’ll pick this up when he returns. He’s probably missing us already
As far as I know pending map updates shouldn’t affect a route from opening if you haven’t started the map update. -
If using track navigation (generated roundtours or scenic routes) an online connection is mandatory as HERE doesn’t support this in offline mode

@Corjan-Meijerink , this was a simple rout generated by searching for the location from within the navigation app. Something that I would expect the app to be able to do off line?
