Old version of MRA mobile?
-
Where can I download the older version of MRA mobile. The new one doesnt let me download routes to my Garmin XT. This was the main reason I used the mobile app so I could download and export to the SAT NAV easily. A major MISS as far as I can see.

@brian-martin I couldn't agree more. Hope they will repair this to the old situation.

You can still go directly to www.myrouteapp.com and use the Route planner to save as GPX 1.1 or GPX1.2 and then use Garmin Drive to transfer to the XT

@steve-lynch Sure? I just opened a route that I already had created for future use. Now I am in the South of Italy and want to send it as a track to the XT (where I wil convert it). Then I am only offered the option: Do you want to download the filename.gpx.

@brian-martin
The following workaround is doable if you want to transfer an already created gpx file but you have to do it by approaching the website:
go to www.myrouteapp.com
go to 'Routes' (your personal files/library)
click on 'Routes'
search the file you need and transfer it the old way by the option 'saving as' and send it via Garmin Drive to the XT where the usual messages appear. -
@rob-veerman Looks like the way to go, thanks.
-
@brian-martin to be more precise:
open the app
click on the three lines left upper side
click on library
click on menu/routelab
click on routes
click on the route you would like to transfer
click on page menu/save as
click on. track gpx 1.1
click on Open with Driveused expressions may not be in the english version but are my own translations from the Dutch version I use. It works, but that's all. The old version was way more better.

I've made a new post under "announcements". I sincerely understand the frustrations. It's a shame that this release is now a bit dominated by what didn't happen and what we should have done differently. This is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate that we can switch faster than other parties with this type of feedback. That's what we did.
This morning we offered the update that allows you to download with "save as" again from Google and Apple. The update is already available on Android. Apple will (hopefully) follow shortly.

@timo-martosatiman-mra As I posted in another topic: thanks for your swift and adequate solution. Well done.

@timo-martosatiman-mra
Great work, thanks for the quick solutions.

Thank you all, please do keep us posted on any changes or issues you're having (preferably through the main post, as that's easier to keep an eye on rather than foraging through the forums )
We're aiming for further improvement of download and share-with-other-apps connectivity in the short term.
