Split into days: route POIs not retained in either part

I have been testing Split again on 20 October. The two private parts saved successfully, but neither retained any of the three POIs from my source route. Reopening both parts confirmed empty POI lists; the source still had all three.
Is excluding route POIs intentional, or could Split retain them with a choice about which part they belong to? I have kept the disposable example and screenshots to help reproduce it.

I have retested this in Safari on 8 November using a private France route. All five POIs now survived across the two Split parts, including a nonempty description and website. That is a useful improvement for preparing touring days.
One boundary detail I am unsure about: POIs at the cut waypoint appeared only in day two, not in day one ending there. Independently trimming each side gave the same result. I checked a POI with exactly the same saved coordinates as the waypoint.
Is that the intended allocation? When a hotel or meeting point finishes one day and starts the next, should its POI be available in both parts, or is there a recommended way to handle this? I have retained the disposable examples.
