Crazy routing

Hi,

When I click ‘Avoid motorways’ for this route

this is the result

31 km turns into 121 km, even though the route is only supposed to avoid a short stretch of motorway – one that could easily be bypassed.

What is this routing for?

@Jörgen The OSM map is active. If you switch to the HERE plan map, you’ll get the route you want.

Ok, but what is OSM doing?

@Jörgen No idea! I only use that map for cycling and walking! Since the HERE map is used for navigation, nothing has changed in that respect compared to Planner Previous!

However, what OSM is doing in this example from Jörgen is really inexplicable—it makes absolutely no sense... because "Curvy Roads" is turned off!

This is indeed a Germany specific issue within our OSM routing server.
