Choice for starting point of a route

@RetiredWingMan It is not troble to skip one, but annoying if you have to skip many.

@Nick-Carthew Thanks, Nick! That's what I needed!!!

And I see that it works whether you navigate the Route as a Track or just navigate a Route!
Perfect!

Thank you all for your thoughts, but I think you all are missing my point....
It's not about me, not about criticizing the App, not about me not knowing my options...
All I am saying is that MRA knows where I am and the route I am taking.
Just offering to start from the nearest Waypoint, like Garmin does, would be nice to have. Even if as a little pop-up.
All I am suggesting is a user-friendly way to start a route. I think that would make the App easier to use and be more appreciated.
So, no sarcasm or passive-agressive coments are needed.
I am trying to suggest something that would benefit everyone, at least in my mind.Also, @herman-veldhuizen is absolutely correct in his statement. And that brings another twist into starting somewhere else other than the Start of the route.

That's great. Where is it documented in the support pages? I looked but couldn't find it.
Thanks

@Con-Hennekens Good find, your eyes are obviously better than mine. I think my eyes have seen too much and are beginning to wear out

@Nick-Carthew, this feature is in there already for so long that I just could not believe it would not be in the manual
I took this screenshot just to satisfy my own curiosity. I cannot say I know the manual very well

@Con-Hennekens
I've checked the link you referenced in post #4 and I cannot see where it states that a long press on a map point skips all previous points. Perhaps I need new glasses but hoping you can help me find where this is documented as you assure. -

The wording may not say it skips all previous waypoints but it does state that the routes starts from the chosen waypoint. Hereβs the bullet point:
When starting, you can also start from a specific waypoint by pressing it on the map for a long time.
