Some items can not be reached by remote controller
-
At MyRouteApp Navigation Next - using a remote controller - some menue items can be reached and accessed, but some not. Per example:
Checked with DMD T865-X (Android 14).
I can access by remote controoler my route library and can navigate arround:

But if I need to step back/up in the folders, I can reach the top breadcrumb menu. But not the root folder. I can only reach the last sub folder and then the main screen/home:

It's also not possible to select routes or tracklogs by remote contol! This level is unreachable.
Next example: If I want to stop a navigation, the last question, if I woul like to stop or to resume navigation - it's not possible to reach the button by remote control:

-
Which controller are you using and which setting?
-
Full controller support is not something we desire to achieve.
Main functions should definitely work (which is the case) but controller support is mainly focused at critical navigation features which all work perfectly with controllers.

Because of dedicated reasons, I need to use DMD Remote-2 controller.
Because we don't have a dedicatet "Input setting" for this model, I only can use the setting "WunderLINQ".
I checked all setting, but only by "WunderLINQ" I get the possibility to zoom in map. But I can't pan the map. For me, zooming is more important than paning.
With all other setting types, there is only pan the map possible, but no zoom in the map. -

@Corjan-Meijerink ...I can understand your point of view.
But I feel, my question belongs to "main function". During a ride, I often want to stop navigation and restart (may with other Waypoit as starting point). It's a bit nasty with the double confirmation for stop the navigation. But if I could reach both confirmations by remote controller, I can live with. The other question seams for me also simple: if there is still a breadcrumb navigation on the top (which is reachable by remote controller), then there is only one level missing; that's all.
My personal feeling: sometimes, it's not possible to stop the bike immediately to operate the navi device. So, most people do it while riding. But since I use a remote controller - I still do only the really needed operations on navi - but I feel much much more secure by this.
As I often tell: it's the biggest game changer I experienced ever...
