Hi everyone!

A new website update is live, again with a lot of your forum topics in it Here's the short version.

New

• Keyboard shortcuts and a quick menu. Press ⌘K (Ctrl+K on Windows) for every page and command with its key. G then a letter goes to a page, ⌘S saves, / searches and ? shows them all. Single-key shortcuts can be turned off in Settings.

• Route status and a note. Mark a route as Planning, To check or Ready and leave yourself a note. You see it in your library, in the planner and on the route page, a folder shows "3 of 7 ready", and you can sort and filter on it. Only people who can edit the route see it.

• Discover lists every category, grouped and each with its own pin. New: Historic, Museum, National park and Bureau de change. Supermarket is a chip in every travel mode.
• RouteXpert lines instead of a heatmap. Magenta lines, fainter where the library is crowded and full strength when you zoom in. Rest your mouse on a line (tap on a phone, long press on a tablet) to see which routes run there. A click still adds a waypoint.
• Trips: one stay for several nights. Nights in a row at one place show as one stay, with check-in, check-out and one hotel search. Set Nights here in the builder, add an address, or pick the spot on the map.
• Trips: route variants. A day can hold alternatives that stay out of the planned totals. The one you ride becomes the day's route.
• Arrive by. Give a route an arrival time and the planner tells you if you'll be late and when to leave instead.
• Avoid car trains, like the Tauern train, on every routing engine.
• Convert to routetrack straight from the ⋯ menu. No more export and import.
• Every point of your tracklog. Hover or click the line to read the time, speed and elevation of each recorded point, and step from point to point. Only you see this, on your own tracklogs.
• Put your tracklog photos in your own order by dragging them.
• Copy POIs to another group or to your favourites, also from a friend's shared group. A place's sheet in the planner has a star to add it to your favourites.
• Duplicate a waypoint from its panel or with C. The copy lands on the route without a new calculation.
• Vehicles can have private notes with phone numbers you can tap, and their own routing settings and day limit. Range and day limit follow the vehicle you pick.
• Filter a route's POIs by type, in the list and on the map.
• Find clubs and events by country, without knowing a name.
• Black as a route colour.
• Move on the map on a phone or tablet: move a waypoint with the crosshair instead of under your finger.
• The app manual is back, 29 chapters in all 8 languages, including CarPlay and Android Auto.

Improvements and changes

• The padlock on the map is now the route lock: it shows on your own saved routes and one click locks or unlocks, like the menu. On a phone it's back, with the less used map buttons under a ⋯.
• Street View opens looking along the road, in your direction of travel. On a phone on its side, map and Street View sit side by side.
• On the Google maps the route stays on its road while you pan and zoom.
• The waypoint panel fits on one screen, and Y, K and 1 to 9 set its type, colour and icon. The waypoint list has Select all.
• Every search result has a button to add it as a waypoint in one click, and a pasted full address finds its street.
• Start route here asks whether to keep the direction or reverse it.
• Waypoints on a hairpin no longer get a turn-around warning.
• Tank range and missing vehicle sizes are now listed under Warnings.
• Split into days and Trim keep the route's POIs. Converting a tracklog to a route puts the waypoints on the road you rode.
• A file with both a route and a track asks which one to follow.
• A POI can stay on the map when zoomed out, and a POI group can show its names.
• Library: rows alternate in colour, Planner and Open work with a new tab, there's a link back to the folder you were in, the map has a fit button (F), and you can save a route in a folder a friend shared with you.
• Compare can use routes friends shared with you, and has a slider for how see-through the lines are.
• The heatmap can include uploaded tracklogs.
• Unnamed waypoints are exported with their address instead of a number.
• RouteXpert destinations start with your own country.
• Planned vs ridden: a skipped stretch on a long straight road now counts as not ridden.
• Links in club and event descriptions can be clicked.
• A route locked in the classic app arrives locked.
• A shared folder can be shared with up to 20 people.

Fixed

• Along the route no longer crashes the planner when you use the 12-hour clock
• A link added to a trip write-up no longer disappears.
• A trip that hasn't started no longer shows as Live, and older tracklogs are no longer added to it.
• GPX files with POI details open in Garmin BaseCamp.
• Your own folders no longer clash with folder names in a club.
• Saving a copy of a route no longer marks the original as edited.
• Imported classic departures and photos show the right local time, and names keep tags like <MT09>.
• Fewer blank maps on browsers with a broken cache or graphics.
• The elevation chart no longer covers dialogs, and a photo from a stay opens full screen.
• Subscriptions: receipts no longer arrive twice, subscribing during a trial tells you when the first charge comes, and you no longer pay twice when one product includes another. Cancelling a period that wasn't paid ends it without a charge, and extra AI credits keep working after your plan ends.
