Hey, what is this, there are a lot of WP added on the route and in the list at the start without it being helpful, right?

The one in the red circle is unnecessary, what does the navigation app do now?

The WP 15 was set wrong by the app so too far behind the exit to the highway therefore the detour to get to WP 16, I tell the app start on WP 16 then it fits.

Here is the route, the app makes a track out of it for unclear reasons .. the message only comes very briefly on the display,...

This is probably due to the route in the route algorithm OSM ...

The issue within the OSM algorithm and the app's navigation feature now appears to be resolved; this is how it looks in the app.

Does this automatically mean it’s back to being track-based navigation?

@Hubert-Thoring The grey waypoints are automatically added by the app so that the originally OSM route is converted to a HERE route that is as much as possible identical to the OSM route.

The converted route is therefore now navigated as a route, and not as "track".

By the way, for the Scenic routing or round trip generator the same mechanism holds. The calculated track is converted into a HERE route using the grey waypoints and the navigation is route based (unless the user deliberately chooses "offroad")...
