Synchronise a folder. Is it possible.

Not a high priority because we don’t see why users wouldn’t just synchronise everything

Fair enough.
Thank you.

...agreed with you Corjan - it's much more easy/convenient to have all your route synched.
BUT: if there are lot of routes in many folders - it would be verry helpful if there would be a search option for routes (like in MRA routeplanner)...

@corjan-meijerink I can give a reason why a user would not want to sync everything
if an app update requires a complete re-login & resync of a users entire library of thousands of routes this can take an extremely long time
likewise for a large library if I use a new device syncing can take a lot of timebeing able to selectively sync certain folders when required is I think a decent compromise

@Brian-McG die to my own fault I had to sync all my routes. Yes my connection was good but it only took 3 or 4 minutes

I doubt that… and what if it does? How often does a resync of all your routes have to take place? Can’t you leave your phone for a couple of minutes?

I didn’t intend to start World War Three, over the synchronisation (or not) of entire libraries.
As the owners of the excellent MyRoute have said that the synchronisation will (for the foreseeable future) be limited to either:
A. A single route or groups of single routes, selected by the owner individually
Or
B. The owner’s entire library
That’s good enough for me.
As to why I prefer to synchronise only the routes I have created for the jaunt I am on, but not my entire library…. I just prefer to do it that way.

The Question is valid and i can see why. But there 2 reasons why i go with the other people.
The first synchronisation can be long. After that it is just seconds.
The discspace needed for al the routes is minimal. The maps takes a lot more space. For my last Holiday i created a group. I put al my routes for that holiday in that group. Easy to find and easy to select. One drawback. Groups are not synched so you internet access to start the route.
The option to only synchronise individual routes is available. But is less obvious then you might think.
1.
Select a route. In the little black (or white, depends on your phones theme) optionscreen that follows. Press on the 3 dots.
2.
Select synchronize. -

@Corjan-Meijerink, while I agree with you, I must say that following your own logic it is very strange to be able to sync individual routes...
If syncing individual routes is a sensible feature, syncing individual folders also is, for the same reasons. If I am not mistaken, syncing folders was actually possible at the introduction of the the sync feature.
