Hull to Rotterdam ferry not recognised
-
I am trying to plot a route from Barnsley in the North of England, to Spa in Belgium. My preferred route is Barnsley - Hull, P and O overnight ferry to Rotterdam then Rotterdam to Spa. Myrouteapp insists on sending me south to Dover and across the channel to Calais. I have tried different maps, and putting waymarks in the middle of the North Sea, but I cannot force the Hull - Rotterdam route. Any suggestions?

Simply make one route from Barnsley to Hull and another route from Rotterdam to Spa.
If you save the ferry ports as favourites it makes the return journey planning easier. -

@Ray-Woodhams I do not understand why you would need MRA to navigate between Hull & Rotterdam
as @richard-3v says splitting the route into 2 sections is the sensible thing to do
surely the Captain of the ferry is going navigate the wet watery bit

Thanks for the split route suggestion. I should have mentioned that this is the obvious work around.
My point in posting is that there seems to be a bug which is not recognising the Hull -Rotterdam route, even when it is the most obvious one, and defaulting to Dover-Calais. -
Did you try setting your option to shortest route?

Well thought out @retiredwingman .
I just tried that and it works.
