Waze warnings...

Hello.

How can I get Waze warning messages to appear (hear) when the app is running on Android Auto? I seem to remember that being possible in the past...

@nomko What kind of nonsense answer is that? If there’s an MRA user hanging around here who happens to have an answer, then that’s only a good thing, isn’t it?

I haven’t read anywhere that asking such a question is forbidden. And the question is perfectly related to MRA. TS wants to know how he can receive Waze alerts even while navigating with MRA.

@Rob-Verhoeff I Reread @atlast question 2 times... And I don't see any "MRA" related question. He only ask to hear "Waze" alerts while running the app in background.. but seems to be related to waze App, not MRA.

So, for my point of view, @nomko answer could be a perfect one, with the data provided by @atlast.

@nomko @lluis-arasanz The original post clearly states that they are using AA with the app. It is perfectly acceptable to ask questions related to third party software.

But does anyone know the answer. I don’t use Wazen but Flitsmeister instead. Those warnings come trough lood and clear. I guess it’s the same kind of app but I’m not shure

I can accept that this post is referenced to MRA app on AA... but I can't accept "Clearly".

This same post on any other navigation app forum is perfectly interpreted as related to that navigation app, not MRA. We suppose is MRA because is in this forum.

No more comments (from my side) about this will follow.

I use Radarbot on background on AA and directly and also direct on Phone, and in both cases the audio is ok.

Perhaps is a device related problem, neither AA nor Waze nor Flitsmeister one.

You state that it is not related to MRA: could you tell us what is your background in programming apps and your knowledge in how Android Auto works?

Waze works perfectly, and it is possible that MRA does prevent another application to access geolocalisation or send audio message in some case.

As I am not a programmer, I don't know and I am simply asking in this forum for some tip.

The very simple basic rule in a support forum is this one: if you don't have the answer, or a hint to the answer, don't reply.

By the way, what authority allows you to determine what can or cannot be posted here?
