Does anyone have a POI database with all petrol stations in Norway where you can get 98 octane fuel? And, if possible, is there a website where other useful POIs can be found? (Not POI Plaza — I don’t really find that website very useful.)

    🏍️ Tiger: DMD Nor7e + SilverFox controller
🏍️ Bobber: iPhone 15 Pro + Quad Lock mount
🚗 Car: iPhone 15 Pro with wireless Apple CarPlay

@Bart-De-Medts I use Pocket GPS World but I don't think Norway is covered very well.

I had to put E10 in my Tiger when we were recently in Wales, I spent the whole tankful of fuel apologising to her and promised her a nice drink of E5 soon 😁

Always willing to help if I can.

Thanks Nick and Hans. I’ve now made an export from OSM of all petrol stations in Norway. I then filtered it for RON98 and created a POI database. It may contain a few errors, but overall I assume it should be mostly correct.

@nick-carthew: I understand the pain your Tiger had to go through, and that’s exactly what I want to spare my beloved one from.

@bart-de-medts, to be honest I think there really is no problem fuelling with E10 on long journeys. It's just that having the bike standing still for longer periods with E10 is not advisable. But yeah, I prefer E5 er E0 also 😉

I am just an enthusiastic MRA user, and hope you will be one too!

Yeah, I pretty much agree with you. I don't see E10 as a problem for long-distance riding. I just tend to go for 98 because it makes me feel better about it. Sometimes it's not technical, it's psychological. 😉
