POI search results relative to map centre

I'm currently playing around with the new app planner – it looks great, is very intuitive and powerful, well done!
When I search for POIs (restaurants, coffe,...) while creating a route, the search results are based on my current location. My suggestion is to display the search results based on the map centre, as I would like to add a new waypoint there.
Or have I overlooked a setting?

Getting fed up of having to scroll through the same posts each visit?
