"Spily your route" window

Make this window moveable.
It covers a route.
It will be easier to drag this window to the side and see map with points.
Perfect will be to make map still active for zooming when this window is open.
@Spili Make sure that you name the route points where you need to split the route with recognisable names, Hotel for example, then you don’t need to see the route.

@Nick-Carthew it has been requested before but it would be so much easier if in the list of points, the background area for each point was highlighted with the colours assigned to the points in the map
would be an even bigger bonus if any icon associated with a point, like hotel or beer was also visible in the split list

I do however like your suggestion as it would allow for a more flexible user experience, I think it would just take more work to implementone possibility could be for the "split your route" window not to appear as an independent window but fill/takeover the zone used by the waypoints, the split list would replace the waypoints list & be scroll-able & the map would be moveable just like it is now when the waypoint list is shown

Adding the word Hotel or stop or even split to the route point title is not only easy to do but it makes finding your split points easy too and after splitting the title could be adjusted.

but IMO just naming the points with a keyword does not make that particular point stand out enough
especially if you have a long route with near the maximum number of points, which is exactly the type of route you will be wanting to use the split tool
