it did for me as well, but then suddenly got this screen. Shut off the computer and re-started it in the hope of it disappearing. Which unfortunately it did not

Devono rinnovare le api key di googlemaps.......ripristineranno al più presto. Nel frattempo usa qualsiasi altra mappa.

Absolutely rubbish. Google not downloading. MRA don't seem to be fixing problem . Might try another site
