Route not transferring to Zumo XT
-
did you check if all your maps are good. i had 3 months ago that update did not went ok and i had to reinstall maps with garmin express.
-
Hi. Did a full reset. All updates installed. Two routes loaded fine. Then turned It off.
It seems that when it's turned off and back on again it doesn't like to transfer.
I tried the route I posted above, known good route, but no luck.
Kinda lost - any other options. -
Are all maps (CityNavigator 2026.20 north and south) propper installed and ticked on.
Please check it in the settings on your ZumoXT.I have imported your route in my ZumoXT without any problems.

@Reinhard-32 yep, all ticked and up to date.
Even my simple route posted above won't transfer. It probably will if I do a full reset and setup again. But that's not workable.
Baffled

Well - the maps are ticked - properly installed?? How do I uninstall and reload them ?

you can not uninstall but you can reinstall via garmin express.
you also can try to remove bleutooth connection and reinstall garmin drive.
also it is good to try to set gpx file off route direct on xt in gpx map. if then the xt sees the new file and can calculate that it has somthing to do with transfer by garmin drive or bleutooth

Before starting your trip, always upgrade, update, reset, control, restart ... your software, iOS, maps, layers, devices, headset, trackers, batteries, tires.... and finally yourself and your mind.

Hi folks, looks like I have it fixed. I had all the following maps ticked - CN EUROPE NTU (FOURSQUARE), TOPO EUROPE CENTRAL, TOPO EAST & WEST, CN EU NTU (PARKOPEDIA), EUROPE DEM, CN EUROPE NTU (NORTH & SOUTH).
So I cleared them all, restarted the XT, added just the North & South and it worked fine. But would not create a Trip until I added the Foursquare item (which has the POI).
So looks like that was the issue, or one map was corrupt. I don't need the Topo maps. I may test it out after the trip, to see what ones are causing the issue, but ok for now.
Thanks folks for testing out y orig routecheers

On the Garmin XT, you should not have more than one routable set of Maps ticked - ie., Only the CN North & South, or there will always be issues when trying to load and run your routes on the unit.

K@Karl-Foley I hope that it works out fine for you because Foursquare is a known problem starter
