Ervaring na 8 daagse reis in Thüringen/Thüringer Wald

Net terug van een 8 daagse reis door Thüringen/Thüringer Wald en wilde even een positieve noot achterlaten.
Vooraf had ik alle routes gemaakt en vergeleken met TomTom en waar nodig aangepast zodat de routes gelijk zijn, rest van de groep de 1.1 gpx gestuurd.
Tijdens de reis bleek dat ook het geval te zijn, route waren identiek op een paar kleine afwijkingen op 1 tomtom, waar waarschijnlijk iets anders ingesteld staat. Kaarten e.d. op de tomtom apparaten waren up-to-date. Hulde aan de makers van MRA next dat dit eigenlijk probleemloos werkt.Ook had ik alle kaarten van de landen waar we doorheen kwamen offline beschikbaar gemaakt in MRA. Ik rij altijd in offline mode en moet handmatig route punten overslaan als dat nodig is (dat is mijn voorkeur), want ik wil de route zo goed mogelijk rijden zoals ik hem gemaakt heb.
Zoals in Duitsland het wel vaker voorkomt, waren er weer veel omleidingen en zelfs sommige waar een omleiding gevolgd werd door een andere omleiding.....
MRA next heeft hier ook weer zijn werk goed gedaan, ik heb vaak gekozen om een route punt (of meerdere) over te slaan en MRA pakte snel de goed weg weer op. Dit in tegenstelling tot de TomTom apparaten, soms kregen de andere rijders een aankomst tijd van 10 uur s ‘avonds en meer van dat soort dingen.Ik gebruik een powerbank voor het constant laden van de iPhone. Nu was ik een keer vergeten de iPhone bij te laden en had wat apps open staan waardoor de batterij op 40 procent stond, na een paar uur rijden was de batterij volledig opgeladen. Dit was een paar maand terug wel anders, dus het moet zo zijn dat het energiebeheer van de app een stuk beter is geworden. Hulde.
1 keer heb ik gehad dat de app zichzelf afsloot, maar na start kwam de route gewoon terug. Denk ook dat dit meer aan de telefoon zelf ligt, want soms heb ik ook dat scherm niet reageert en na de zij knop ingedrukt te hebben en daarna op scherm tikken doet hij het weer. (oude iPhone die wat raar doet af en toe )
Het enige wat mij opviel is dat de "Dynamic mode" soms niet terugkomt nadat ik de navigatie heb onderbroken en weer gestart (is in een andere post ook al gemeld). Het icoontje geeft wel aan dat Dynamic mode aan is, maar app staat dan in vaste zoom. Als ik vervolgens door de modes heen ga en weer Dynamic mode actief hebt is het weer in orde.
Eigenlijk op 1 ding na heeft MRA next probleemloos gefunctioneerd.

Just back from an 8 day trip through Thüringen/Thüringer Wald and wanted to leave a positive note.
Beforehand I had made all routes and compared them with TomTom and adjusted them where necessary so that the routes were the same, and sent to the rest of the group the 1.1 gpx.
During the trip this also turned out to be the case, the routes were identical except for a few small deviations on 1 TomTom, where something was probably set differently. Maps etc. on the TomTom devices were up-to-date. Kudos to the makers of MRA next that this actually works without any problems.I had also made all maps of the countries we passed through available offline in MRA. I always drive in offline mode and have to manually skip route points if necessary (that is my preference), because I want to drive the route as well as possible as I made it.
As is often the case in Germany, there were many diversions and even some where a diversion was followed by another diversion.....
MRA next did its job well here too, I often chose to skip a route point (or more) and MRA quickly picked up the right route again. This is in contrast to the TomTom devices, sometimes the other drivers got an arrival time of 10 pm and more of that kind of thing.I use a power bank to constantly charge the iPhone. Now I once forgot to charge the iPhone and had some apps open, which caused the battery to be at 40 percent, after a few hours of driving the battery was fully charged. This was different a few months ago, so it must be that the energy management of the app has improved a lot. Kudos.
I had the app close itself once, but after starting it the route just came back. I also think that this is more due to the phone itself, because sometimes I also have that screen does not respond and after pressing the side button and then tapping the screen it works again. (old iPhone that acts strange sometimes)
The only thing I noticed is that the "Dynamic mode" sometimes does not come back after I have interrupted the navigation and started it again (this was also mentioned in another post). The icon does indicate that Dynamic mode is on, but the app is then in a fixed zoom. If I then go through the modes and have Dynamic mode active again, it is fine again.
Actually, except for 1 thing, MRA next has functioned without any problems.
