ROAD CLOSURES

Hello, folks!
It would be a great feature to have if during the planning stage and especially the Navigation stage, the Road Closures were incorporated.
I am aware of the Seasonal Closures feature, but that is not enough.
AT least in the US, every state has the web sites with Road Conditions and closures posted. One example is 511GA.com for the state of Georgia.
With a trip planned out to the area, especially after the Hurricane went thru, it would be most helpful to know what is going on right in the MRA environment.

Lenny in the Gold edition (only) you have in the planner the general setting in the header line for OSM, TomTom and Here for route calculation and with the stappled squares symbol you can select different map layouts e.g. the Michelin Layout or Google Maps. The last topic of this list is traffic. You must tick this box too to see traffic conditions and perhaps actual closure.
But this is a Service from HERE (or TT) and regard their actuallity accuracy worldwide has MRA no influence.
MRA will show you blocked routea with the navigation next too and calculate this at start but give you no hint with a note or voicecommand for alternatives when something happened new during the ride.
Such called „Live traffic service“ is actually not implemented and planed for the future as MRA told.Peter

Lenny as I wrote.
When you open on the phone the App for navigation the actual traffic road conditions will be recognized for calculation.
But when you do a 200 miles trip for the next 4 hours and something happend new you see this perhaps on the map when you are close to this new situation, but you get no warning like Garmin with traffic do, or other navis, telling you that the route will be adjusted due to a whatever reason automatically or by your confirmation.Peter
