    With all these modern GPS/smartphone/tablet electronics available, is anyone still using the old method of roadbooks or something like that:

    It is not difficult, it is easy, it's a hobby

          🙂

          Basically, it is a box with two little cylinders inside and a simple system to attachpaper to it.

          You have to prepare a piece of paper with the information you want to display while riding? the example shows such paper that indicates what turns you have to take, or use your own homemade standaard fro indicatign the main turns..

          The two little wheels on the left side serve to move the paper up or down.

          I drove "around" Switserland with such a thing. Worked surprisingly well on a highway, on little roads better have a map on the tankbag.

          It is not difficult, it is easy, it's a hobby

            @Drabslab
            This kind of roadbook (prayer book) is originally used for car rallye sport (by Co driver). For Motorbike it had to be transformed from book to that systen, because there is no Co driver who is able to read an to tell (pray) to the driver.

            Modern devices may no longer use paper, but may be electronic. Still used for long distance rallyes like Dakar Rallye.

            Nothing is impossible ;-)
